I'm backwards

I always do this..... post things out of order! I guess it really doesn't matter but still frustrates me! It takes more brain power then I have to think about how to do it in chronological order. These pictures were taken at Andys Parents house Christmas day . Emily got a ton of stuff thanks to Aunt Ashley (clothes and shoes), Aunt Sue(My little Pony stuff and Clothes), Uncle Mikey and "A" (books),Honey and PawPaw( bike,toys and a stocking)!

Its Christmas time !

I really didnt feel like doing the big tree thing this year, its such a pain putting the lights on etc. SO I just decorated my 3 pine trees. They turned out cute and took up less room then a big tree. Hmmm! I might do this every year !

Merry Christmas

Emily wasn't too into it this year. She is scared to death of Santa Claus even the mention of his name made her panic. We had to kind of help her open the first few presents until she realized something fun was under the paper!!!! We only got her a couple things but she scored at Honey and PawsPaws house. We're hoping next year she likes it more and gets more excited !Shes been wanting the Sleeping Beauty horse and was so excited to see that. Aunt Billye got her an Aquadoodle set. If you've never seen one of those it is so cool its a mat with a pen you fill up with water and draw.I love it, I can hand the pen to Emily and not worry about a thing! Andys parents got her the bike, so far thats her favorite thing! Also you'll notice Emily wearing practically nothing...thats because it was 83 degrees Christmas day! Crazy huh?

Mike and Adi got a new puppy , Em just loves puppies she thought he was so "sweet" ! Emilys got the life.....actually dont most 2 year olds have it made?

Andy came and woke me up this morning...."its snowing"!
What??? In Louisiana? Yep, in Louisiana! I think I jinxed us by saying "I dont miss the snow" ! Emily thought it was so cool. She calls it a Snow Globe. She kept saying "lets go in the snowglobe" !

Christmas Parade

Saturday was the Central Christmas Parade. It was freezing in the morning but warmed up pretty quick. I must admit I DO NOT miss the freezing cold or the snow in Utah. Emily isnt too fond of Santa Claus or getting "pelted" in the head by flying candy from the floats! But we had a good time !
By the way ...the last picture is NOT me its my mother-in-law!

Ashley had Rocky and Donna bring a big bag of stuff home for Emily. There was "sparkly shoes" as Em calls them. She will not take them off. Andy tried to take them off when she was asleep and she hit his hand away ! Good thing they are cute shoes !!

The Cousins!

Heres a picture of most of us (excluding Ashley,Ben,and Aunt Tonis kids). Im waiting to get some more pictures from Adi(NO PRESSURE!)- I forgot my camera so I stole this from Jenns blog!In the middle is Aunt Gwen, Myrnas sister. We had so much fun with everyone and we are so glad everyone was able to come out for the funeral. I know Myrna is so grateful that we all have such a good relationship.

Myrna Loy McCartney

Andys Grandma Myrna Loy McCartney passed away on Sunday Nov. 2nd. She was loved by many,many people. She and her late husband Frank introduced the Gospel to many people and actually started a branch out here called "The Slaughter Branch" which is a part of our stake. Andy was VERY close to her and PawPaw Frank. He spent as much time as possible on their farm, sometimes not going home for days at a time . MawMaw Myrn read him lots of scripture stories and taught him all about the gospel at a very young age.
Most of the Vancheire family flew out for the funeral-all except spouses and children were here. It was fun to see everyone and spend time with people we hadn't seen in a long time. Myrna will be very missed but we are so thankful for the knowledge we have of eternal families and we are so happy that she is with her loved ones who have passed on before her.

"Trick or Treat"

Emily wasnt to sure about this trick or treat stuff. She DOES NOT like scarey things at all. Everytime she saw a scarey mask or heard ghosty sounds she would get really scared. Actually in one of the pictures you can see the terrified look on her face as she takes off running! We had to avoid anything scarey and if she did see anything like that she would say "its ok its just a halloween costume" almost like she was trying to convince herself to not be afraid. At one door she even told a lady " I was scared" ! I think next year she'll be a little more into it !
