Where does the time go ?

I had to post some pictures of Emily, wasn't that long ago that she was teeny tiny. I tried to find some newborn pics. but I guess they aren't on this computer. Isn't she precious?!

I can't believe it !

I was laying next to Emily tonight just staring at my beautiful 5 year old girl. It makes me so SAD how fast the time has gone. I have so many regrets about not cherishing every baby moment with her. Not realizing she would be our only child, I was so anxious to get through every rough (or so I thought) stage. Now she's 5 years old and getting ready to start kindergarten. We got her up to date on her immunizations and are registering her tomorrow morning. School starts in 2 weeks. We have been very blessed to have her. She is our world and I pray that we can always strive to be good parents to her. Parenting is so hard. I was a GREAT parent BEFORE I became one ! I'm sure I was also a great wife before I became one, but thats a different issue altogether.
I just encourage everyone to hold your babies as much as possible. The cleaning and the laundry can wait and unfortunately so can the SLEEP! Cherish every moment with those special blessings because time flies.
