"REPTILE DISFUNCTION" !

The Dogs were going crazy barking (about 1am)so I opened the back door to yell at them and a FROG jumped right in the house. Needless to say I screamed so loud that I woke Andy up out of a dead sleep. Andy was kind of mad at me but I told him he wants to live out here he gets to deal with the creepy crawly things !! Here is what happened next......

What a MESS !

Em went out to play with the Dogs today ......I looked out to check her and saw her making a HUGE mess with their food and water. I let her keep on, she was having so much fun. She was ready to come in and this is what I saw. I had to strip her down outside and hose her off which resulted in another hour of playing in the mud !

Memorial Weekend Part 1

Saturday we went to Central Private School fundraiser. There were rides,crafts and food (of course). We were there a few hours. Emily got to do her favorite thing, ride horses and Andy got to do his, eat crawfish and me... WATCH !!

Emilys day with Honey !

Donna and Mikey took Em to the Swamp this week. There is a nature walk and a little museum with animals. She got to see aligators, snakes and turtles. She had a blast. Im so thankful for Donna, I look forward to her taking Emily as much as Emily does. Not only is she giving me a day to myself she is creating lasting memories with Emily ! We love you Honey !

Slip-n-slide

We got a slip-n-slide this week and we have been out the last few days . The dogs have actually stayed away from us which is nice ! The weather has been awesome not too hot so its fun to stay out there .

" A day at the pool"!

Emily and Honey had a day at the pool yesterday. Emilys loves swimming ! Thanks Donna for keeping for the day !

"Oh my gosh it's real "!!

This morning Andy was getting a towel out of the cupboard to take a shower and noticed a lizard on the floor
Here is our conversation:
Andy: " what is this doing in here, oh my gosh its real" !!
Me: "what is real"
Andy : "o my gosh , its not a lizard it's a SALAMANDER"
Me: Gross
Andy " man wonder how he got in here "
Me: "get em , catch em"
Andy goes into the kitchen grabs Emily's bug catcher and we proceed to chase this thing which is very FAST for the next 20 minutes. I ran out into the garage got my garden gloves . Andy pushed it towards me with spatula and I grabbed it !! Emily toted it around today -- He stayed in the truck for church though!! We just let him go because he missed his mommy !! Here's a few pictures of our first Amphibian this year !!!
