Spring time!

Spring is by far my favorite season. I love the weather , I love how it stays light longer, I love how everything starts turning green, I love Easter and best of all , all of my favorite people (well most)on Earth have birthdays in April. I think my Grandma Anderson played a big part in making Easter my favorite holiday. Every year my cousins and my brothers and I would have a big party at Grandma and Grandpas house. All the girls would go over the day before and make Bunny Cakes together. Grandma would have the cakes already made but we got to frost and decorate them. Then we would have a big Easter Egg hunt with everyone, and play games in the sunshine. I love warm weather and I know that after Spring comes Summer ! LOVE IT !

Pink Boots!

My Mom sent me my niece Rayna's old pink boots. Emily is lucky she has older cousins that hand down their cute clothes to us. We LOVE hand me downs! Emily LOVES the pink boots !

Easter Party

Emily had a Easter Party at school. They made their own easter baskets, I thought it was so cute. The kids loved them. It's made with a milk jug! We were supposed to have a picnic lunch with the kids outside but it was raining so we stayed inside . I love her little school they always do fun things with the kids.

Nothing Exciting!

We moved the chicks outside . They have about doubled in size since we got them so we felt like they were ok to go outside. We put them in the big coop out front and so far they are doing good and getting bigger and faster ! Emily can't catch them as easy anymore !

New Family Members!

While I was at work yesterday Andy took Em and got some chickies. She is loving it. She is actually doing pretty good with them so far. We have to keep them inside for a while until it warms up and until they are a little bigger. They are pretty easy , just keep them in a box under a heat light. We have them in the sun room so not actually in the house but close enough !! Emily did name them "Yellow chick and Brown chick" ! haha!

6 Years tomorrow!

6 Years ago tomorrow I got a terrible phone call , my cousin Eric had been in a horrible car accident. His car had rolled a few times and slid on the roof for a few hundred feet. He had to be extracted from the car. He was severely injured.
This was a HUGE trial for our family, it effected every single one of us. Eric was on life support for a week. Everyday there were a swarm of family members in and out of his room. We all rallied together for him and especially for my Aunt Judi. Even with this terrible tragedy , I feel it was a blessing that we had that week with him. We were able to resolve any hurt feelings , forgive and forget past mistakes and words.
Growing up we had a very close relationship, as all of the Harris cousins did and still do. We spent many, many summers together. Either in our pool, Gramma and Grampa's pool at the lake or on the river . We spent a alot of time together. Eric was one of those guys that could make anyone laugh. He was very funny and very talented. He left behind the sweetest little girl and the light of her Gramma's life, Sylvie Lynn.
I know Eric is in a better place and at peace. I know someday we will all be reunited with him. I am so thankful for the many memories I have of him and thankful for the time we all got to spend with him while he was on the earth. March 10th marks the 6 year anniversary of his death. He will forever be missed and loved.

Drew Baby!

We kind of had FHE with Mike and Adrienne Monday night-----well---we really fried fish, ate crawfish and watched The Bachelor finale! But it was fun to hang out and see Drew Baby. He is really good and is really happy. I could'nt get him to smile but Andy sure could. I told Andy , too bad we didnt live closer then we could just live vicariously through them and never have another baby!Its fun to play with them then hand them back when they need something ! A lot different when they are yours!!

Another Boy !

Ashley and Ben welcomed baby Caleb Feb 26th. We are so excited for them. We wish we lived closer to see him and all the kids for that matter! Congrats , Ben and Ash. We love yall !
