The last few days

These are slave quarters at the Oakley Plantation there was 245 slaves here at one time. This is the kitchen which was outside across from the house

In Louisiana people have to be buried like this because of the water table

There was a home here at one time, but it burned down and they left the foundation up and planted a garden. Its really cool.

This is the driveway to an old plantation home. They were having a wedding out front.
