Perdido Keys, Florida

For almost 3 summers now I have wanted to go to the beach. Growing up in Southern California I practically lived at the beach. I have never been to the beach on this side of the world, so when Aunt Toni (Andys Aunt) invited us to go I couldn't refuse. Aunt Toni and her husband Greg have a mansion on wheels, AKA a motorhome. This thing is amazing , has every luxury of home and more . We left on Friday afternoon and after about a 5 hour drive we were at the beach. It was about 10pm but we still walked out to the bay to check it out.
Next morning we packed up our beach stuff and walked across the street to the sand .....we were there maybe an hour then the rain came. We ignored it as long as we could but it was getting worse and actually started to get a little cold. In the meantime Emily had a blast . She loved the beach, loved chasing the water and looking for sea shells. We went back to the motorhome hoping it would stop and we could come back out . Well......24 hours later is was still RAINING !
O-well, I got to know Aunt Toni and Greg better and Emily had a blast playing with Presley . I sure hope next time I get to see the sunshine and really enjoy the beauty of the beach !
